Katherine Greco
Ms. Greco graduated with her B.A. from the State University of New York at Old Westbury in 2012. After working as a research assistant in New York City, she realized she wanted to return to school so she could follow her dream of becoming a teacher. In 2015, she began working on her Master's Degree at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During her time there, she worked as a graduate teaching assistant for the Politics and Geography department. Throughout the Master of Arts in Teaching program, Ms. Greco had the opportunity to present at the South Carolina Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference, serve as a middle-level judge for the National History Day Competition, observe several classes in a variety of schools, and work as a Social Studies teaching intern at Waccamaw High School in Pawley's Island, SC. In July of 2016, Ms. Greco finished her M.A.T. degree in Social Studies. She currently teaches Literature, History, Trivium, and Economics. She is thoroughly dedicated to developing a learning environment that is challenging, engaging, and exciting. She helps her students grow academically and intellectually whilst instilling the principles of the Thales Academy Top 15 Outcomes.
